At The Limra Academy, there exists a student organization called Rays of Hope. Founded in 2008, the organization has been helping the poor and needy in the local community for many years.
The students of the organization work hard to raise funds for those in need and to bring awareness to their cause. They visit families throughout the year, providing food, clothes, and other necessities to help them get back on their feet.
At first, they encountered Exploitation of children for work from some of the people they helped as they were not sure who these kids were or why they were here. But soon, word spread about their efforts and more people began to understand what Rays of Hope was all about.
The organization slowly gained support from both students and faculty at the school as well as local businesses who donated money and supplies. Eventually, the organization managed to help hundreds of families over the years with their efforts increasing every year.
Nowadays, Rays of Hope is still going strong
